Widespread Panic subs at Bonnaroo
Capital of Tennessee -- Widespread Panic has been named as the closing
main-stage dissemble of the Bonnaroo Music and Liberal arts Festival, set for
June 12-15 in Manchester, Tenn. The lineup was shuffled in the wake
of a cancellation by the Allman Brothers Band because of origination
extremity Gregg Allman's health.
"We're thrilled that Widespread is connexion the Bonnaroo batting order
once again this year," said Ashley Capps, president of A.C.
Entertainment, producer of Bonnaroo with Superfly Presents. "It was
very disappointing that the Allman Brothers had to scratch, merely we
feel lucky that Affright could step in. They've been at the heart and
soulfulness of Bonnaroo from its inception and their Bonnaroo sets never
fail to be an extraordinary live for the fans."
Jack President Johnson will now forgo Bone Jam on the main point Sat
nighttime, stepping into the slot vacated by the Allmans. Samuel Johnson, wHO
had originally been scheduled to close the fest on William Ashley Sunday, will
perform beginning at sunset on Sabbatum, to be followed by Pearl
Jam's closure main stage set.
Bonnaroo besides has added Les Claypool, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5,
Superdrag, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Adele, Thou Ole Party and
the Postelles to this year's festival card.
